At our San Bernardino family law practice, we assist families with every aspect of family law, including divorce. For more than 20 years I’ve provided legal counsel and courtroom representation for men and women. Clients who seek our services for divorce do so because they anticipate they may be going to court and they are seeking a divorce attorney with extensive courtroom experience and an aggressive, confident, poised manner who can represent them well.

Property division is often a heated area of conflict. I’ve worked on divorce cases for couples with significant assets and closely held businesses. We regularly work with forensic accountants to properly value property, assets, pensions, and business interests, to investigate questionable financial transactions, or to unearth hidden income. We work with appraisers to value real estate and antique or classic cars.

For families with children, child custody decisions pose the greatest challenge. Families are increasingly empowered to create parenting plans that work for them. As their divorce lawyer, we listen carefully and bring in specialists, child psychologists and other significant advisors as needed to help couples understand the needs and best interests of their children, and to establish those interests in court.

During the stress of divorce, family members who have shown a tendency toward violence may increase their threatening or violent behavior. If you have been the victim of domestic violence, contact our office immediately for help in seeking a restraining order.

In California, grandparents also have rights to visitation with grandchildren. We will represent grandparents asserting those rights in court.

After the divorce, we work with clients to wrap up loose ends, such as equalization payments that were never made, getting a former spouse to sign over title to property as specified in the divorce decree, getting a qualified domestic relations order to divide a pension fund – an activity that is often reserved until later.

It is also common for child support, child custody and child visitation orders to require modification due to changing circumstances. We handle many modifications of court orders. Contact our office to schedule an appointment to review your legal needs.

We provide family law legal services to the residents of San Bernardino, California, San Bernardino County and Riverside County and the communities of Redlands, Yucaipa, Hesperia, Victorville, Rancho Cucamonga, Ontario, Upland, Chino, Fontana, Highland, Barstow, Corona, and High Desert.
